Summary of Client

Steepologie Teas is a specialty tea retailer that offers a wide range of loose-leaf teas, tea blends, and accessories. They have a unique concept where customers can customize their own tea blends from over 300 premium loose-leaf teas and botanicals in-store or online. They also offer a variety of tea-related products, such as teapots, cups, and brewing accessories. Steepologie Teas has several locations across the United States, including stores in Arizona, California, Oregon, and Washington, and were looking to expand in Indiana.

Project Goals

Simon Property Group approached Progress Studio to provide remodeling services on behalf of Steepolgie Teas’ first location in Indiana. The client wanted to refresh the tenant space by providing eye-catching finishes representative of their brand, providing a backdrop to the variety Steepologie Teas sells to customers. The goal was to create a visually appealing and inviting retail environment that showcases their wide range of tea products and accessories while also having the flexibility to change displays and product arrangements.

Our Solutions

Progress Studio created a plan that utilized much of the infrastructure available in the tenant space and selected a black simulated wood veneer to wrap the storefront without replacing the storefront – saving on time and expense. In addition, they needed to have a layout that was easy to navigate for customers, with clear displays that highlight the different types of teas and products available. It was vital to create distinct zones within the store for different types of tea or product categories.
