Summary of Client

Dr. Hoover opened her own practice after years of working for others and wanted a space that reflected her personal vision for a modern general dentistry environment. The new tenant suite offered a fresh start, giving her room to create a welcoming reception area with warm wood ceilings, sculptural lighting, arched shelving, and a calm lounge atmosphere. The space also provided the foundation for streamlined clinical rooms, clean storage zones, and finishes that support a smooth patient experience.

Project Goals

Dr. Hoover needed to fit as many exam rooms as possible into the 2,980-square-foot suite, even if some would be completed in later phases. This approach secured the square footage she needed for long-term growth while setting up exam rooms, sterilization areas, and support spaces in a logical and efficient layout. A key challenge was organizing these program needs within the limits of a new tenant space while still creating a cohesive, inviting environment.

Our Solutions

Progress Studio partnered with Dr. Hoover and her equipment vendor, Patterson Dental, to determine the exact square footage required for each clinical and support area. Through full-color 3D virtual tours, Dr. Hoover was able to review layouts, finishes, and material combinations and make confident decisions before construction began.

The completed space brings together warm architectural elements at the reception, such as wood plank ceilings, modern pendants, and a black tile feature fireplace, with bright, organized clinical rooms featuring white cabinetry, durable work surfaces, and clear storage solutions.
