Summary of Client

SHarper Plastic Surgery is a thriving plastic surgery and aesthetics practice in multiple locations, and this growth led to a need to add another location to their existing practices in Fishers, IN and Avon, IN. With a strong brand and a growing patient community, the team wanted a space that reflected a more refined, spa-like experience. The new suite offered the opportunity to bring in warm wood textures, soft recessed lighting, and polished stone inspired surfaces that support a calm and elevated patient environment.

Project Goals

Initially looking at a smaller space, Dr. Harper quickly realized that a larger suite would better suit their needs, so design shifted mid-stream to the larger space within the same north side Indianapolis plaza in a more prominent location. The design goals around the project were to integrate multiple exam rooms set up for diverse treatments, as well as a salt lounge and other staff support spaces. Influenced by a recent skiing trip, the client wanted to incorporate certain detail elements while still fitting the brand’s image. This included layered lighting, warm natural textures, and modern fixtures that align with the practice’s aesthetic.

Our Solutions

Progress Studio worked closely with the client on implementing the details outward, utilizing live render technology to support informed decisions around layout, finishes, and material combinations. From the moment clients arrive, they enter an expansive waiting room with bright natural light, a mirrored ceiling that lifts the space visually, and a wood lattice feature set against staggered stone look tile. These details create a warm and welcoming first impression.

The salt lounge features a glowing wall that creates a calm, softly lit environment for patient treatments. Throughout the clinic, recessed and cove lighting provide a clean and calming backdrop, paired with warm wood cabinetry and neutral surfaces that support daily clinical needs. Treatment rooms and corridors carry consistent material selections, creating a smooth flow from one space to the next. Restrooms feature gold fixtures, textured tile, and soft lighting that give the space a modern and polished feel.

Progress Studio guided the design process to support SHarper Plastic Surgery’s patient experience from start to finish, resulting in a space that reflects both the brand and the practical needs of a growing medical practice.
