The client, an established practitioner, wanted to move the practice into a fresh, newly finished space that offered more room and a more welcoming environment than their previous location. The new tenant space provided the opportunity to create a brighter reception area, updated exam rooms, warm material moments, and a layout that supports a smoother experience for both patients and staff.

Project Goals

The primary goal was to create a cost-conscious design while fitting as many exam rooms as possible into a compact 2,086 square feet. The practice also needed an efficient sterilization zone, staff support areas, and clear circulation for daily workflow. A design challenge was finding the right balance between high-impact visual elements and practical materials that work well in a clinical setting and stay within budget.

Our Solutions

Progress Studio introduced high-impact elements at key touchpoints, such as vertical wood slat features in the entry and hallways, paired with warm sconces that add visual interest without adding cost. Accent walls and lighting were placed to create a calm, contemporary feel from the moment patients arrive.

Throughout the exam rooms, sterilization area, and staff spaces, we used a clean, functional material palette that supports clinical work and long-term durability. Neutral cabinetry, bright task lighting, and organized storage keep the space easy to use and maintain. The result is a modern, efficient dental practice that supports Dr. Schmidt’s growth while creating a welcoming experience for every patient.
