You'll own projects, not tasks. That means holding the schedule, the drawing set, and the client relationship together — coordinating MEP and structural consultants, keeping the Revit model clean, and making the calls that keep a project buildable and on budget.
Progress Studio is small enough that the person running the project is also the person drawing it and sitting in the OAC meeting. If you want distance from the details, this isn't the seat. If you want the whole arc of a project, it is.
Lead projects from programming and space planning through construction administration.
Produce and manage Revit models and full construction document sets, including code and life-safety plans.
Coordinate MEP, structural, and civil consultants; own the QA/QC review before each issue.
Prepare and answer plan review comments for IDHS and local jurisdictions.
Run client and contractor meetings — agendas, decisions, and follow-up in writing.
Review submittals and shop drawings; conduct site observations and punch list reviews.
Mentor designers and drafters, and help set drawing standards as the studio grows.
8+ years in commercial architecture with full CD sets under your name.
Healthcare, dental, or veterinary project experience.
Professional degree in architecture; registration is active.
Multi-state licensure, or willingness to pursue Florida and Georgia.
Fluency in Revit; comfort with Bluebeam and cloud document workflows.
Ground-up work alongside tenant build-out experience.
Working knowledge of the Indiana Building Code and IDHS plan review or similar jurisdictions.
LiDAR scanning and as-built documentation workflows.
Direct experience running consultant coordination and construction administration.
