Prather Family Eyecare, led by Dr. Chris Prather, is a prominent eyecare practice offering comprehensive optometry services, including urgent care, ocular disease management, eye exams, and contact lens services. With their previous space approaching the end of its lease term, the client sought to transition from leasing to owning a space while also considering future development opportunities.

Project Goals

The primary objectives were twofold: to create a functional space accommodating the current practice’s needs and allowing for future expansion and to design a site plan that would facilitate phase development while ensuring operational efficiency.

Our Solutions

To address these goals, Progress Studio collaborated closely with EyeDesigns, a Chicago-based consultant group specializing in retail displays and equipment for eyecare professionals. Our design team worked alongside Dr. Prather to devise a site plan solution that allowed for future flexibility in development without hindering the use of the newly constructed building. In addition, we worked closely with Dr. Prather to develop an exterior design that harmonized with the planned development parameters while reflecting the desired updated aesthetic.
